Woodrow L. Wilson

With humbled hearts and consoling minds, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family serves notice that Woodrow L. Wilson has layed down the cares of this world on December 26,2020 while resting at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Virginia Beach, VA. From there, he picked up his new wardrobe and golden keys for his everlasting life in Heaven.

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order.  Beginning on Friday January 1, 2021 between the hour of 12 noon and 1pm a public viewing will come forth as Woodrow lies in a tranquil repose at New Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Beginning promptly at 1pm a Triumphant Homegoing Celebration will be called to order in the Sanctuary of New Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with his brother Rev. Dr. Hubert H. Wilson Jr, officiating. At a latter date following the conclusion of the Triumphant “Send Off”, Woodrow along with adored relatives will be escorted to his earthly waiting room called Roosevelt Memorial Park Cemetery until his name is called to receive his crown of Righteousness. 

Although it will be a major adjustment for his family with Woodrow no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing he is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before him, beholding the Master’s Glory as he receives his golden keys and his crown of righteousness.
