Willie Junior "Bump" Privott

As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mr. Willie Junior Privott affectionally known as “Bump” as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with him. Mr. Privott got his ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Saturday, June 10, 2023. 

A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will begin on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC. Mr. Privott will lie in peaceful repose from 1pm until time of service. As hard as it will be for Willie’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”

On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, an intimate Committal Service with Military Honors will come forth in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.
