Willie Lee “Mena” Mabine

During this moment of sadness, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mr. Willie Lee Mabine affectionately call “Mena” who drifted off to sleep in the arms of his Savior as He stated “Come unto Me, My dear child” while he rested at Roanoke Chowan Hospital Ahoskie, NC on December 30,2024.

The Services honoring Mr. Mabine legacy will begin with hours of viewing and visitation on January 4, 2025 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm at Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with “Mena”  while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time. On Sunday January 5,2025 commencing at 2pm, a Triumphant Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations with Evangelist Talitha Stallings, officiating.
Following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Mabine’s delicate temple along with his adored family will be escorted to the Beaver Hill Cemetery for committal rights. Although “Mena” closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing, he has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.

Guests are being received at 224 Hawthorne Road Edenton, NC 27932 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
