Our loving arms of compassion are wrapped around the heartbroken shoulders of the family of Mr. William Earl Hardy affectionately called “Hardy” who answered the Master's Call on Saturday, January 3, 2025.
On Saturday, January 17, 2026, beginning at 11am Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will be held at Whosoever Will Church of God in Christ in Edenton, NC. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved

Carolina; his loving mother, Annie Ward Hardy of
Edenton, North Carolina; and his siblings
Jacqueline Hardy-Lassiter of Stoughton,
Massachusetts; Frank Hardy (Mary) of
Portsmouth, Virginia; Melvin Hardy (Donna) of
Roslindale, Massachusetts; Calvin Hardy (Donell)
of Brockton, Massachusetts; Frankie Renee
Hardy of Boston, Massachusetts, along with
Barbara Midgett of Raleigh, North Carolina, and
Annette Knox of Brockton, Massachusetts.
Hardy also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and loved ones including Treavon Damien Treadway, Roslindale, Massachusetts; Alexis and Awia
White of Atlanta, Georgia; John Knox; Shakeshia
Patterson; Lanei Sherrie Law; Walter West; Rose
Garrett; Ceesea Midgette; Tatanger Midgett;
Chantel Midgett of Boston, Massachusetts;
Jacqulin Hardy of New Bedford, Massachusetts;
Jeremy T. Lassiter and Timothy E. Lassiter of
Stoughton, Massachusetts; Jameka Hardy of
Hampton, Virginia; Nya Hardy; Jayla Hardy of
Portsmouth, Virginia; and Calvin Hardy, Jr. of
Brockton, Massachusetts.He is also survived by his aunt, Ethel Judge of Edenton, North Carolina, and a host of cousins, and special friends who will forever cherish his life, laughter, and legacy.
Although “Hardy” closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing, he has walked into the Garden of Rest where every day is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
