In extreme sorrow, the staff of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations is embracing the tender hearts of the family of Mr. William Alfred “Domo” Foreman who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday January 21,2026 at Virginia Beach General Hospital Virginia Beach, VA. From there, he picked up his new wardrobe and golden keys for his everlasting life in Heaven.
The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Mr. Foreman have been finalized and will commence on Saturday January 31,2026 at 2pm with a Triumphant Homegoing Celebration at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin J. Boone delivering the Eulogy. Viewing and Visitation will take place from 4pm- 6pm on Friday January 30,2026 at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations.
Following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Foreman’s delicate temple along with his adored family will be escorted to the Melton Grove Church Cemetery for committal rights.
“Domo” was so much to so many and it will be difficult with him no longer being with us on this side. However, those who loved him can find solace knowing, he is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers. There, he’s sitting at the Welcome Table feasting on milk and honey while enjoying being in the presence of his Heavenly Father.
Guests are being received at the residence located at 195 Union Hall Road Hertford, NC 27944 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton’s Ebony Motorcade.
DOMO/NINK leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving devoted wife of 29 years, Tammie Foreman of Hertford, NC; his "#4 of a kind" children, Cyron Leigh, Tahji Foreman, Za'Nasia Foreman, all of Raleigh, NC and Zamir Foreman of Hertford, NC; four grandchildren Nicholas Leigh "Nich", Devonya Lee "Big Girl", Devinchi Lee "Big Guy" and Milan Oliver "Baby Boy"; one God child, Keonte Foreman; one sister, Marquita Foreman of Hertford, NC; one niece, NyLexia Gibson "Face" Elizabeth City, NC; Mother-in-Law, Vivian Wilson of Edenton. Also left to cherish his memories are two Sisters-in-Law, Markisha Lawrence and Yolanda Wilson both of Edenton, NC; four aunts, Annie Whidbee, Patricia Moore, Geraldine Whidbee, all of Hertford NC and Ellen Mullen Virginia Beach, VA; one uncle, Dwight Foreman Sr. of Hertford, NC; three special cousins, Shirley Foreman, Danita Whidbee of Hertford, NC and Craig Whidbee of Edenton, NC; Special friends, Carlton Jackson of Hertford, NC, Don "DJ" Crittendon of Weeksville, NC, Timothy White of Georgia, Robert Banks of Hertford, NC, Wallace Welch of Elizabeth Cit,y NC and "Stripping Shop #121". He was preceded in death by his father William A Foreman Sr.
