During this moment of sadness, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mr. Verrick Kadeem Parks affectionately called “Punni”who drifted off to sleep in the arms of his Jesus as He stated “Come unto Me, My dear child” on July 7,2024.

On Saturday July 20,2024 commencing at 2pm, a Triumphant Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel Hertford,NC. Following the services in the chapel, “Punni’s”delicate temple along with his adored family will be escorted to the Beaver Hill Cemetery for committal rights. As difficult as it will be for his parents,children, siblings and other family members to dismiss from this earthly resting place without “Punni” all will can find confidence knowing God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”

Guests are being received at 76 Chowan Court Edenton, NC 27932 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
