With tender hearts and compassionate hands, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family announces the earthy transition of a gentle soul,Trent Maurice Jones. Trent quietly stepped out of life's backdoor on May 15, 2021 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 11 am at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC with Minister Vanessa L. Lashley, officiating. During this time, family and friends can gather to embrace each other as the healing process begins, while reflecting on everlasting memories of Mr. Jones. Yes this is as far as Trent’s relatives can trod with him on this side of eternity, however, they can find solace understanding he is now in that land flowing with milk and honey and the King of Kings is present with all the saints that have made it over and each are praising our Savior all the day long.

He was preceded in death by his father Randy M. Jones; grandparents, Phillip M. Edmonds,Evangeline Lashley, Donna F. Jones.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving mother, Natarsha E. Jones; siblings, Tayla D Jones, Trevor M Jones (his twin); Maternal grandmother,Patricia Edmonds; paternal Grandfather, Jimmy Jones; Paternal Great Grandmother, Lillian Hayes; one aunt, Nina Edmonds and a host of great aunts, great uncles and cousins
