With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mr. Tommy Roosevelt Glasper as they prepare to celebrate his lasting legacy. Mr. Glasper transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday October 20,2021 after receiving his heavenly summons while resting at his residence.
Celebration of Life events will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 3pm at Holy Trinity Community Church with Bishop Mac Freshwater, officiating and Rev. Terrance Glasper delivering the Eulogy. It will be an adjustment for Mr.Glasper family and friends not being able to spend time with him any longer while here. However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.”
Left to cherish his precious memories his loving and caring wife, Catherine Brockett of the home; mother, Ruth Glasper of Elizabeth City; four daughters, Lucretia Holmes(Alrese), Tomil Glasper, Tommesha Glasper all of Elizabeth City and Ashley Glasper of Georgia; Two stepdaughters, Larkita Brockett and Tasha Holley of Raleigh NC; four grandchildren Na Ji, ZyAsia, Ny’Asia, My’Asia; great grandchild, Ra Ji.; brother Robert Glasper Jr( Billy) of Hopewell,VA; three sisters, Sarah Wiggins, Juanita Taylor and Hilda Dawson; A special niece and nephew Lisa and Terrance Glasper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
