As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mr. Thomas Preston Billups as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with him. Mr. Billups got his ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Thursday, November 18, 2021.
Private services will be held.
As hard as it will be for Thomas’ loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
He leaves to mourn his death three daughters Casandra Honeyblue, Amanda Honeyblue and Asha Billups two sons Jammie Honeyblue and Mario Billups five grand children, two sisters Evangelist Dr. Doris Billups of North Valley Stream, New York, Gail Billups of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, two brothers Joseph Billups of Bridgeport Conn., Gary Billups (Barbara) of Durham, North Carolina, fifteen nieces, thirteen nephews and a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
The Compassionate Professionals of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations are serving the Billups family and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
