With sincere compassion and concern, The Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mrs. Tashanek Latrice Holley, as they prepare to celebrate her lasting legacy. Mrs. Holley transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, February 23, 2026 in Norfolk, Virginia. 

A Service to remember this precious jewel will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 1pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. Mrs. Holley will lie in peaceful repose from 12Noon until time of service. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with Mrs. Holley while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time.

One may wonder why Tashanek would leave her earthly belongings here when she departed this past Monday, however, those close to her find comfort understanding that where she is now, there was no need for any of her earthly garments or shoes because she has a pair of Golden Slippers and a Long White Robe.
