With loving arms of compassion the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mr. Talmadge Odell Watson as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Mr. Watson closed the curtains of Life on November 25, 2021.
The “Dash” between Mr. Watson’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Saturday, December 4, 2021 commencing at 2pm at First Baptist Missionary Church with Elder Darwin Hedgepeth, Officiating and Rev. Terrance White, Eulogist. On Friday, December 3, 2021 between the hours of 6-8 pm Talmadge will be on view at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations for those who wish to spend moments with him prior to the Celebration of Life Service.
Although it will be a major adjustment for his family with Talmadge no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing he is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before him, beholding the Master’s Glory as he receives his golden keys and his crown of righteousness.
Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Cedarwood Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.
The Compassionate Professionals of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations are serving the Watson and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
