With loving arms of compassion the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Ms. Susan Lueretta Howard as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Ms. Howard closed the curtains of life on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

The “Dash” between Ms. Howard’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Monday, January 24, 2022 commencing at 1pm at Job’s Chapel Baptist Church with Bishop Levi Murray, Eulogist. On Monday, January 24, 2022 between the hours of 12pm-1pm Ms. Howard will be on view at Job’s Chapel Baptist Church for those who wish to spend moments with her prior to the Celebration of Life Service.

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Brown Memorial Cemetery. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

Although it will be a major adjustment for her family with Susan no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and crown of righteousness.
