The moment has been determined by God and the task has been given to the Horton’s Family to advise everyone that Mrs. Stella Gregory Norman departed this Life December 4,2022 leaving her bags behind but holding the hands of two angels dressed in white, from there she picked up his new wardrobe and golden keys for his everlasting life in Heaven.
Details for Stella’s Life Honoring Services are finalized and have been asked to be announced thusly. At 11am on Saturday December 10,2022 a formal “farewell” ceremony will be called to order in the main Sanctuary of Free Grace Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. Immediately following the formalities in the church, Mrs. Norman’s earthen vessel along with her cherished family will be escorted to the Free Grace Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. Although this Saturday will be a sad one for Stella’s family having to say “good-bye” to this precious gem, all can find solace knowing she is in that Land where everyday is going to be like Sunday and there is always “Howdy Howdy” and never anymore “good-byes."
Guests are being received at 1022 George Daniels Rd. Manteo NC 27954 where they will assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton’s Ebony Motorcade.
She was Preceded in death by Earl Liverman (father) Murphy Peterson Sr. (stepfather),Miyako Cornell Barrow (son), Breana Banks (niece), and Robert Thomas (brother).
She leaves to cherish her the love of her Life her husband, Robbie Norman (Her Hub Cap); two children, Devontae Armstrong and Quantanya Barrow all of Manteo NC; two step-daughters, Ashley Myers, Edenton, NC, Brianna Norman, of New York; four step-sons, Jamil Fuller of Greenville,NC, David Myers, of Virginia, Devonte’ Norman, of Clayton NC and Brian Norman of New York; mother, Eleen G. Peterson of Manteo; Mother In-Law Jannester Norman, of Creswell, NC; aunts, Josie Meekins, of Manteo NC, Stella Spencer (Elbert), of Columbia NC, Dr. Alice L. Basnight (Fentress) of Reston, VA and Sophie Morris, of Brooklyn, NY; uncle Kenneth Liverman, of Kill Devil Hills, NC; sisters, Willer “Sissy” Spencer, of Manteo, NC, Eleen V. Bryant (Chuck) of Manteo, NC and Elbretia “Bre” Banks-Jones (Terrance) of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers Murphy Glen Peterson Jr, of Manteo, NC and Johnny Thomas of Long Island, New York; Two sister-in-laws, Trinetta Simpson, of Roper, NC and Loretta Norman(Tommy) of Ohio and brother-in-law Darnell (Jennetta) Norman, of Roper NC; loving grandchildren, Alexia Barrow, Kanisia Moore, Harmony Armstrong, Riah Armstrong, Avery Armstrong, and Addison Armstrong; nephews, Brandon Harris (Rashena), of Lillington,NC, Spencer Banks, of Fayetteville, NC, Chuck Bryant Jr., of Manteo, NC and Johnny McMurran of Estherville, Iowa; nieces, Shanessa Taylor (Evan), of Baltimore MD, Brittnee Frisby (Tyree), of Tomball TX., and Tempest Daniels, of Fayetteville, NC; a host of great-nieces/nephews, cousins and friends. Additionally, the love of her patients and co-workers at The Outer Banks Hospital will forever rest with her. Also, her dearest and loving friends that she cherished are Bellini and Clara Basnight, James and Amy Hill, Billy and Nina.
