Sherry Patrica Mallory

In extreme sorrow, the staff of Horton  Funeral Home and Cremations is embracing the tender hearts of the loved ones of Ms. Sherry Patrica Mallory. Ms.Mallory received her angelic wings Saturday Morning while resting at Gates House.

The Legacy events will begin on Friday August 2,2019 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm at Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations where Sherry will lie in tranquil repose for family and friends to gather for a public visitation aNd viewing. On Saturday August 3,2019, a Glorious Farewell Celebration will be held at Leigh’s Temple A. M. E. Zion church in Hertford ,NC commencing at 11am. Immediately following the services in the sanctuary, Ms. Mallory’s delicate vessel along with her adored family will be escorted to the Mallory Family Cemetery for Interment Rites.  

It will be in this designated location that Ms. Mallory’s  earthly temple will remain until Gabriel blows his trumpet and the King of Kings descends from Heaven with one foot on the celestial seas and one foot on a crimson cloud commanding all of His beloved children to enter into their mansion beyond the skies. Although this Saturday will be a sad one for Sherry’s  family having to say “good-bye” to this precious gem, all can find solace knowing she is in that Land where everyday is going to be like Sunday and there is always “Howdy Howdy” and never anymore “good-byes."
