With an abundance of love and concern, the Horton Family is embracing the heartbroken loved ones of Mr. Roy Lee Murray as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this vital link to their family chain. Mr. Murray closed the curtains on this journey called life on Friday August 21,2020 at his residence.

Details for Mr. Murray’s Life Honoring Services are finalized and have been asked to be announced thusly. On Saturday August 29,2020 at 1pm a Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will take place in the Sanctuary of Jobe’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with his brother Bishop Levi Murray, Officiating and his brother Elder Derek Murray delivering the Eulogy. Immediately following the formalities in the sanctuary, Roy’s earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to Cox Family Cemetery for Committal Rites. Yes, this is as far as Mr. Murray’s relatives can trod with him on this side of eternity, however, John the Revelator has sent good news to Roy’s loving family when he wrote, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away."  Let the church say.........Amen.  

Guests are being received at his sisters residence Marie Murray Topping located at 4979 Quarter Road Swanquater, NC 27885 where they will also gather in preparation for the Horton Ebony Motorcade.

Due to COVID-19 face mask will be required for entry to the Homegoing service. Also the service will be streamed live on the Church and Funeral Home Facebook page.
