As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mrs. Rebecca Beauford Collins as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her.  Mrs. Collins got her ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Monday, October 19, 2020 at Outer Banks Hospital Nags Head, NC.

Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Mrs. Rebecca’s life which was from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest are finalized by her cherished family. On Sunday , October 25, 2020 commencing at 3pm there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Smith officiating and Pastor Randy Harris delivering the eulogy.Following the services in the House of God, Mrs. Collins delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to the Brown Memorial Cemetery for Interment Rites. Mrs. Collins was so much to so many and it will be difficult with her no longer being with us on this side.  However, those who loved her can find solace knowing she is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers. There, she’s sitting at the Welcome Table feasting on milk and honey while enjoying being in the presence of her Heavenly Father
