Raymond Walker Leary

With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Horton’s  Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with the family of Mr. Raymond Walker Leary as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Raymond Walker Leary, 79, of Williamston, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born February 10, 1944, to the late William Gray Leary and Lucy Rogerson Leary. He was a great carpenter and could build almost anything. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Betty Swain Leary. He is also survived by his three children Donna Gardner and husband Kelvin, Shelby Mobley and husband Terry, David Leary, and wife Emily. He had 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and is expecting four moregreat-grandchildren in January. He also had several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Leary Roberson. He is the last of 9 children. A Celebration of his Life will be held August 19th, 2023 @ 11:00 am at Roberson Chapel Church 1930 Roberson Chapel Rd Williamston, NC. 27892.
