Our family at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations, joins with the Ransome family to inform those concerned that Mr. Ransome Holder permanently changed his address from Earth to Glory on Saturday, July 8, 2023 while resting at Latter Days Senior Living in Mt. Olive, NC. 

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order.  Beginning on Sunday, July 16, 2023 between the afternoon hours of 1pm and 2pm, a public gathering will come forth as Mr. Holder lies in Tranquil Repose in the Main Sanctuary of Rhema Word Christian Center. Promptly at 2pm, A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will take place at Rhema Word Christian Center with Bishop Sherman Blandon, officiating. On Monday July 17, 2023, at 12 Noon, an Intimate Committal Service with Full Military Honors with take place at the earthly waiting room called Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery until his name is called to receive his crown of Righteousness.

 He leaves to cherish his precious memories seven children, Monica Moore of New Haven, Connecticut, Anthony Holder, Andre Holder (Carolyn) of Brooklyn, New York, Chaun Conley of Kenly, NC, SaQuan Holder Streetport, Louisiana, Samantha Holder of Smithfield, NC, Ransome Holder of Raleigh, NC; 14 grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; one sister, Laura Burgess of Washington, DC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins and friends. 

Guests are being received at 928 Old Smith Chapel Road Mt. Olive, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton’s Ebony Motorcade.
