Obituary
With a multitude of compassion and concern, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family announces the earthly departure of Mr. Percy Privott. Mr. Privott pulled the drapes on this journey called life on January 22, 2023.
The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Mr. Privott have been finalized and will commence with a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 2:30pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations.
Immediately following the formalities in the Sanctuary, Mr. Privott’s earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to Piney Grove AME Zion Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
As hard as it will be for Percy’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
