As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mrs. Patricia Alexander McPherson as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her. Mrs. McPherson got her ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Tuesday, October 5, 2021. 

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration will begin as Mrs. McPherson lies in state on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from the hours of 12-1pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will begin on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1 pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel. 

As hard as it will be for Patricia’s loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
