As the Angelic Host rejoices with the arrival of another anointed woman of God, those who remain to endure have heavy hearts and indescribable sadness as a result of this tremendous loss. Pastor Mary Joanette Johnson Neal gently laid her head in the Master’s arms and went to sleep in Paradise on Friday, March 14, 2025.

Now that she has finally met the Man she has witnessed to others about for so many years and been honored to sit at the feet of the one she prayed to, not to mention beholding the beauty of the one she taught her family about, her spirit is satisfied and when the trumpet is sounded and the sky opens once and for all, the Master Himself will call her name saying, "Joanette, you’ve been faithful, you’ve been true and you’ve done all you could ever do and for your faithfulness, ITS YOUR TIME."
The compassionate professionals at Horton’s Funeral Homes and Cremations are working around the clock to ensure that the Neal and connected families every need is attended too.
