As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mrs. Ollie Mae Hunter as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her. Mrs. Hunter got her ticket and stepped on that morning train Monday, May 4, 2020 at her residence.
Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Mrs. Hunter’s life which was from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest are finalized by her cherished family and are as follows. On Saturday May 9, 2020 at 2pm, tender moments of reflection will take place at Riddick Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Belvidere,NC. While there, relatives and friends can unite in love and support for each other as they say “farewell" to Mrs. Hunter.
Mrs. Ollie Mae was so much to so many and it will be difficult with her no longer being with us on this side. However, those who loved her can find solace knowing although she enjoyed cutting her grass and maintaining her yard down here, she is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers. Yes, everyone will miss her but she sitting at the Welcome Table feasting on Milk and Honey.
The compassionate professionals at Horton’s Funeral Homes and Cremations are working around the clock to ensure that the Hunter and connected families every need is attended too.
