Ny’Reese Ny’Quan “Lil P” Moore

With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Horton’s Family joins with the family of Mr.Ny’Reese "Lil P" Moore as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Mr. Moore  transitioned from this Life on Wednesday January 25,2023.

On February 1,2023 beginning at 1pm a Formal Service of Remembrance will be held at Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Pastor Kera Johnson,officiating. Viewing and Visitation will take place Tuesday January 31,2023 at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations from 6-8pm.During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. Immediately following the services in the Chapel “Lil P” earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to Beaver Hill Cemetery for committal rights. 

He leaves cherished memories parents, Napoleon Moore, Samantha Johnson and Stepfather Jamil Johnson;  three children, Kylen Moore-Tripp (mother-Jamesha Tripp), Ariyona Armstead (mother-Breyona Armstead), and Karter Moore (mother-Shaniqua Spears); great-grandfather William Bond; grandmothers, Linda Gray, Gloria Moore and Cheryl Johnson; five sisters, Nyresha Moore, Jamillian Johnson, Devone Moore (Jamil), Chimere Brown (Jamil); God sister Layla Holley brother Donelle Capehart Jr. He was known as Uncle P to many and also leaves to cherish his memories to a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memorie along with his special friend Tycorick "Flip Mo" Johnson.

Boyz to Men said it best when they put pen to parchment and wrote these heart felt lyrics: " How does this family say goodbye to what they had; the good times that made those special to “Lil P”  laugh, will always outweigh the bad; his mother, father, children,  siblings, grandparents, family and friends thought they’d get to see forever, but since this past Wednesday forever has gone away.....it’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday”
