Nora Mae (Holley) Nowell

With sincere compassion and concern, The Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mrs. Nora Mae Holley Nowell, as they prepare to celebrate her lasting legacy. Mrs. Nowell transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, July 25, 2025. 

A Service to remember this precious jewel will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11am at Oxley Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Nowell will lie in peaceful repose from 10am until time of service. 

Following the services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Nowell earthen vessel along with her adored family will be escorted to Oxley Hill Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. One may wonder why Nora would leave her earthly belongings here when she departed this past Friday, however, those close to her find comfort understanding that where she is now, there was no need for any of her earthly garments or shoes because she has a pair of Golden Slippers and a Long White Robe.
