With an abundance of love and concern, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family is embracing the heartbroken loved ones of Mother Christine Revell, as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this vital link to their family chain. Mother Revell closed the curtains on this journey called life on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Services to reflect Ms. Revell’s rich life sketch from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest are finalized by her cherished family. On Friday, February 17, 2023 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC tender moments of reflection will take place. While there, relatives and friends can unite in love and support for each other as they prepare to say “farewell.” On Saturday, February 18, 2023 commencing at 2pm there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration at the Edenton United Methodist Church with Elder Garry Cordon, Officiating and Elder Walter Robinson, Eulogist.
Immediately following the formalities in the Sanctuary, Ms. Revell’s earthen vessel along with her cherished family will be escorted to Beaver Hill Cemetery for Committal Rites.
Guests are being received at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Janine Ward located at 218 Mulberry Hill Lane Edenton, NC 27932 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
Ms. Revell closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom she loved and loved her can find solace knowing she has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son Calvin Revell (Connie); one daughter, Janine Ward aka Bunny (Joe); Five grandchildren: Nicole Ward, Calvin Revell Jr., Angel Revell, Alecia Ward, and William Ward Jr. (Cortney); Three great grandchildren, Jahmeir Revell, William Ward III, and Amelia Ward; Two sisters, Ruth Arnold and Edith Carter; and 1 brother-in-law Howard Holley. She also leaves to cherish two lifelong friends, Barbara Privott and Guerline Overton; Three very special families, The Boyce, Bass, and Wood Family as well as one uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
