Montana Parnell Harrell

As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Mr. Montana Parnell Harrell as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with him. Mr. Harrell got his ticket and stepped on that Morning Train on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration will be held at 11am on Friday June 19, 2026 at Bethlehem Apostolic Faith Church of God and Christ with Dr. Kera L. Johnson, Pastor/Officiating and Pastor Michael Vaughn, Eulogist  

Following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Harrell’s delicate temple along with his adored family will be escorted to the Tucker Family Cemetery for committal rights.

As hard as it will be for loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
