The moment has been determined by God and the task has been given to Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations to advise everyone, that Mrs. Lisa Renee Berry-Bryant exited the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center on Saturday, September 3, 2022 leaving her bags behind but holding the hands of two angels dressed in all White. No one said anything because all knew where she was going.
A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service will begin on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11am Free Grace Church of Christ in Manteo, NC.
Guests are being received at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Natalie Arzu-Rochez located at 805 Lindbergh Berry Road Manteo, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Free Grace Church Cemetery. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.
Although it will be a major adjustment for her family with Lisa no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.
Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Alonza Bryant Jr.; brother, Oscar Berry Jr.; and her parents Oscar and Vivian Berry. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, children, Jason Berry Sr. (Evelyn), Natalie Arzu-Rochez (Sebastian) of Manteo, N.C., Vivian Berry of Elizabeth City, NC, Karizma Berry-Bryant and J'Vyana Berry-Bryant of Manteo N.C.; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; aunts, Mary Conway of Stockbridge, Georgia, Cora Thompson of Somerville, New Jersey, and Carolyn Gallop of Newport News, Virginia; Godsister, Denise Golden of Canyon, Texas; and Special Friend, Alvenda Spencer of Manteo, North Carolina and host of cousins and friends.
