Though the clouds may hang over there will be a brighter day  in that land, they call heaven God shall wipe all tears away….. 

In extreme sorrow, the staff of Hortons Funeral Home and Cremations is embracing the tender hearts of the family of Mr. Michael Rayner. Mr. Rayner entered into eternal rest on March 8,2024 at His residence in Edenton,NC. 

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday March 20,2025 at 2pm in the Sanctuary of Providence Missionary Baptist Church with Apostle Lolita Askew, officiating. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

Guests are being received at 804 Martin Luther King Avenue Edenton where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
