With many mixed emotions and understandably broken hearts, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with family of Mr. Matthew James Milot Jr. as they prepare to say “Until We Reunite." Mr. Milot transitioned from this Life on November 1, 2024 in Hertford, NC.

A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 2pm at Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church in Edenton, NC. 

Matthew J. Milot Jr., who shared a passion for landscaping, and his animals forever touched our hearts.

Though his life was cut short at 26, his legacy lives on through his vibrant daughter, Mariah Milot. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, including his girlfriend, mom and dad, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Matthew leaves cherished memories of his son, Matthew Milot III, and his sister who preceded him in death. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a monetary donation.
