Master Marcus Elijah Johnson

As we strive to do what the Bible teaches us and that is "The strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak", we sadly announce that God cared so much for Master Marcus Elijah Johnson, that He wouldn't allow him to endure this sinful world. Instead, He took him back home to reign with Him in Heaven on Saturday, August 26, 2023. 

Intimate services to remember this precious angel have been finalized by his beloved mother and father. On Saturday, September 9, 2023, commencing at 12Noon, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Greater NC COGIC State Headquarters located at 1609 Wendell Blvd. in Wendell, North Carolina. Marcus will lie in state from 11am until time of service. A Viewing and Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 6pm-9pm with a Service of Reflection commencing at 7pm at AFCOGAC Headquarters in Windsor, North Carolina. While there, relatives and friends can unite in love and support for each other as they prepare to say “farewell.”

On Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 12Noon, an Intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Tucker Family Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

 During these lasting moments, family members and close friends will embrace each other as they face the reality that being able to see Marcus grow up and creating precious memories were stopped too soon. As pure as Marcus was in his short time here on earth, his mother, father, and other loved ones can find comfort knowing, every time they see the sun shine or see a butterfly or even feel a soft breeze, it will remind them that he is right there with them.
