Margaret Louise Brown-Ward

It is with sincere sadness that the Horton’s Funeral Home Family announces the earthly transition of Mrs. Margaret Louise Brown Ward as she peacefully answered the Master's call on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Edenton, North Carolina. 

Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to pay homage to Margaret on Sunday, December 5, 2021 with a viewing between the hours of 1pm and time of service at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC. A Celebration of Life service will be called to order at 2pm with Pastor Phyllis Copeland, Eulogist at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. 

As hard as it will be for Margaret’s loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
