Mamie Lou (Wilkins) Mitchell

With loving arms of compassion the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Mamie Lou Mitchell as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Mrs.Mitchell closed the curtains of life Wednesday October 21,2020 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.

The “Dash” between Mrs. Mamie year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Sunday, November 1,2020 at 2pm at Pooles Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Linwood Turner, officiating. Although it will be a major adjustment for Mrs. Mitchell’s family with Mrs. Mamie no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her, beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.
