It is with heavy hearts that the staff of Horton’s Funeral Home & Cremations announce the earthly transition of Mr. Malcolm Alexander Hinton Jr. from this life to life eternal. Mr. Hinton entered into everlasting rest on February 7,2021.
Life and Legacy Services for Malcolm will commence with a public visitation on Saturday February 13, 2021 between the hours of 4pm and 6pm in the Viewing Parlor of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC. A formal “farewell” celebration will take place on Sunday , February 14,2021 at 1pm in the Main Sanctuary on the premises of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church. Immediately following the formalities in the Sanctuary, Malcolm’s earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to the Oak Grove Cemetery for Interment Rites. Although Malcolm exited this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing he has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
He is survived by his parents, Malcolm and Darkiesha; five sisters, Shiquasha, Tybresheia, Kirica, Milcaysha, Deajah; three brothers, Tyshawn Jashod and Latrell; grandparents, Clinton Barnard, Sr., Leroy Hinton, Sr. and Alexis Hinton; three nephews and one niece and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
