With genuine comfort and support, the Horton Funeral Home and Cremations family announces the peaceful transition of Mrs. Maggie Jackson Sawyer also know as “Sweething” from this life to life everlasting on July 10,2020.
Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Sawyer will be called to order on Sunday July 19,2020 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Presiding Elder Fondella Leigh officiating and her brother Apostle Henry Jackson delivering the eulogy. Immediately following the formalities in the sanctuary, Mrs. Maggie earthen vessel along with her cherished family will be escorted to Porter’s Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
Mrs. Sawyer was so much to so many and it will be difficult with her no longer being with us on this side. However, those who loved her can find solace knowing, she is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers.
