Mable E. Jordan

With an abundance of love and concern, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family is embracing the loved ones of Mrs. Mable E. Jordan, as they prepare to say “Farewell” to a link to their family chain. Mrs. Jordan closed the curtains on this journey called life Monday, September 25, 2023 while resting at Edenton PrimeTime Assisted Living. 

Services to commemorate Mrs. Jordan’s life, will begin with a public visitation on Saturday, September 30, 2023  between the hours of 5pm and 7pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023  commencing at 2pm at Bay Branch A.M.E. Zion Church in Belvidere, NC with Rev. Joseph Walton, Pastor/Eulogist. 

Following the life honoring services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Jordan along with her adored family, will be escorted to her earthly resting place in the Piney Grove A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery. 

Although this is a task that no family wishes to partake, God promised to give them a strength that surpasses all understanding and He can do what no other power can do. 

Guests are being received the residence of her son, Mr. Alton Jordan located at 252 Bethany Church Rd. Belvidere, NC 27919 where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.

The Compassionate Professionals of Horton’s  Funeral Home are walking hand in hand with this precious family during this period.
