Louis Eason

With humbled hearts and consoling minds, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family serves notice that Mr. Louis Eason laid down the cares of this world on Friday, March 10, 2023. From there, he picked up his new wardrobe and golden keys for his everlasting life in Heaven.

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 12noon at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC. Mr. Eason will lie in peaceful repose from 11am until time of service. 

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Riddick’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

Now Louis can find peace knowing she is now sitting at the welcome table hearing the Master say “Well-Done” thou good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over the things on earth, now I will make you ruler over many. 

Louis leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Sarah Williams (Gregory) of Elizabeth City, NC; three sons, William Eason of Michigan, Louis Eason Jr. of Belvidere, NC and Weldon Eason of Elizabeth City, NC; one nephew, Kenny Eason; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
