Keomatrae Dayon Perry Sr.

With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family joins with the family of Mr. Keomatrae Dayon Perry Sr. as they prepare to say, “Until We Reunite."  Mr. Perry transitioned from this Life on Monday, May 16, 2022. 

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering Services for Keomatrae have been finalized and will commence on Saturday, May 21, 2022 beginning with a viewing and visitation at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC between the hours of 6pm and 8pm.  A Triumphant Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2pm, at Warren’s Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Beaver Hill Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

As hard as it will be for Keomatrae’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”

Guests are being received at the residence located at 450 Haughton Road Edenton, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
