Kathryn Jeannette Elliott

With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Ms. Kathryn Jeannette Elliott as they prepare to celebrate her lasting legacy. Ms. Elliott transitioned into eternal rest on March 22, 2025 receiving her heavenly summons while resting at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. 

Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at 1pm at Greater Welch’s Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Carolyn Griffin, Eulogist. Viewing and Visitation will take place Monday, March 31, 2025 from 4pm-6pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. It will be an adjustment for Ms. Elliott’s family and friends not being able to spend time with her any longer while here.  However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.” 

Following the services in the sanctuary, Ms. Elliott’s delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to the Greater Welch’s Chapel Church Cemetery for committal rights.
