With tender hearts and compassionate hands, the Horton’s Funeral Home Family announces the earthy transition of a gentle soul, Jutavion Stanley Brownridge affectionally known as “Lil Jay” quietly stepped out of Life’s backdoor to meet his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Dr. Darius J. Horton, officiating. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss.
Immediately following the formalities in the Chapel, Mr. Brownridge’s earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to Beaver Hill Cemetery for Committal Rites.
As hard as it will be for Jutavion’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
Jutavion leaves to cherish his memories, his loving parents Joe & Debbie Brownridge; brothers, Terence Ford, Tavis and Ckaviyon; sisters, Sha’Quashia and Leasia; special cousin/brother RJ; and a very special friend Keda. He leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
The Compassionate Professionals of Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations are serving the Brownridge and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
