A Service to remember this precious jewel will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 1pm at Melton Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Alvin J. Boone, Eulogist. A Viewing and Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 6pm to 8pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with Mrs. Hunter, while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time.

Following the services in the sanctuary, Mrs. Hunter earthen vessel along with her adored family will be escorted to Melton Grove Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. One may wonder why Joyce would leave her earthly belongings here when she departed this past Thursday, however, those close to her find comfort understanding that where she is now, there was no need for any of her earthly garments or shoes because she has a pair of Golden Slippers and a Long White Robe.
