Johnnie Marie Johnson

As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives Mrs. Johnnie “Mae” Johnson as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her.  Mrs. Johnson got her ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Saturday, April 17, 2021. 

Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Mrs. Johnson Life which was from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest are finalized by her cherished family. On Saturday, April 24, 2021 Mrs. Johnson will lie in state from 11am until time of service. Commencing at 12noon there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration at Branches Chapel Missionary Baptist Church located in Rich Square, NC with Dr. Darius J. Horton officiating. Immediately following the formalities in the Sanctuary, Mrs. Johnson’s earthen vessel along with her cherished family will be escorted to Moore’s Cemetery for Committal Rites.

She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sons; Kevin Andrew and John Patrick Johnson (Kimberly Johnson), 1 stepdaughter; Reverend Joanette Neal (Wadell Neal deceased), 6 grandchildren; Shenitha Bottoms, Ayesha Harry (Walter), Tamara Combo, Gloria Drew, Randolph D. Williams, Lamont Johnson, Melniqua &, Lamika Johnson and Gavin Johnson, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
