John Henry Riddick

With loving arms of compassion the Horton’s Funeral Home Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mr. John Henry Riddick as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Mr. Riddick closed the curtains of life on October 2, 2021. 

The “Dash” between Mr. Riddick’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 3pm at Horton’s Funeral Home Chapel in Hertford. On Saturday, October 9, 2021 between the hours of 6-8 pm John will be on view for those who wish to spend moments with him prior to the Celebration of Life Service. Although it will be a major adjustment for his family with John no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing he is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before him, beholding the Master’s Glory as he receives his golden keys and his crown of righteousness.
