Jessie Matthew Simpson

With determination to provide genuine comfort during this difficult moment in a family’s life, The Horton’s Funeral Home Family has been charged with the solemn duty to advise all that Mr. Jessie Simpson has transitioned from this life into life eternal as of Saturday, March 14, 2026. 

The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Mr. Simpson and his adored family can take part. Commencing on Sunday, March 29, 2026 a Memorial Service will take place at 11am at Pleasant Branch Baptist Church. 

John the Revelator has sent good news to Mr. Simpson’s loving family when he sat one day and put pen to parchment writing, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.” 

Let the church say......... Amen.
