Jesse Agustus Privott

With an abundance of love and concern, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family is embracing the loved ones of Mr. Jesse Agustus Privott as they prepare to say “Farewell” to a link to their family chain. Mr. Privott closed the curtains on this journey called life Friday, February 23, 2024 while resting at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC. 

Services to commemorate Mr. Privott’s life, will begin with A Triumphant Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 2, 2024 commencing at 1pm at First Baptist Missionary Church of Hertford, NC. A Viewing and Visitation will take place Friday, March 1, 2024 at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations from 6-8pm. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss. 

Following the life honoring services in the sanctuary, Mr. Privott along with his adored family, will be escorted to his earthly resting place in the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Although this is a task that no family wishes to partake, God promised to give them a strength that surpasses all understanding and He can do what no other power can do.
