With heavy hearts and solemn emotions the loved ones of Jean Dildy Knight are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family. Mrs. Knight went down to the ticketing office while resting at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Windsor, NC on Tuesday August 24,2021 and the train conductor Jesus Christ issued her a boarding pass stamped well done bound for life in Paradise.
The Service of Remembrance events will begin with two hours of Viewing and Visitation on Monday August 30,2021 between the hours of 5pm-7pm as Jean rests in tranquil repose at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. Following the hours of reflection, a Glorious Homegoing Celebration will commence on Tuesday August 31,2021 at 1pm at Upper Room Assembly Gatesville, NC. Immediately following the formalities in the house of God, Mrs. Knight precious temple along with her cherished family will be escorted to the New Hope Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. Yes, this is a very hard task for Mrs. Knight family to endure, yet they can rest knowing she is in the number John spoke of in the book of Revelations when it stated “those are they who have come up through hard trials and tribulations and have washed their robes in the Blood of the Lamb."
The compassionate professionals at Horton’s Funeral Homes and Cremations are working around the clock to ensure that the Knight and connected families every need is attended too.
