With humbled hearts and consoling minds, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family serves notice that Ms. Jasmine Monique Dunbar laid down the cares of this world on Tuesday June 8, 2021. From there, she picked up her new wardrobe and golden keys for her everlasting life in Heaven.
On Monday, June 14, 2021 being called to order promptly at 3 pm. Post Meridian, the Angelic Obsequies fit for Heaven’s newest angel will take place at the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel. Now Jasmine can find peace knowing she is now sitting at the welcome table hearing the Master say “Well-Done” thou good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over the things on earth, now I will make you ruler over many.
Jasmine was preceded in death by a grandfather, Grandy White, and an uncle, Eric Johnson. Jasmine leaves fond memories to: her mother, Diana Dunbar (Bernard) of High Point, NC; her father, Alvin Johnson of Elizabeth City, NC; two daughters, Desire Dunbar and Jy’Niyla Murray of High Point, NC; one son, Ny’Zere Ellerbe of High Point, NC; eight sisters, Aje’Ona Riddick and Da’Nari Gilmore, My’Asiah Hoffler, Samiya Williams, Amiya Williams, Jamiya Williams, Dyzah Brazzle, and Autumn Williams all of Elizabeth City, NC; four brothers, Jamonte Johnson, Jalen Douglas, J’Quan Douglas and Jahmari Douglas all of Elizabeth City, NC; grandparents, Ernestine “Connie” Dunbar(Herbert Lee) of Hertford, NC, Sheila Johnson(Joe), and Alvin Felton(Gina) both of Elizabeth City, NC; aunts and uncles, Yolanda Dunbar(Stanley) of Hertford, NC, LaToya Privott of Hinesville, GA, Shirley “Kisha” Copeland of Elizabeth City, NC, Johnnie Dunbar(Corrine) of Portsmouth, VA; Grandy Dunbar of Hertford, NC, and Jeffrey Privott(Venus) of Hinesville, GA, and Jacal Felton of Elizabeth City, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
