A Triumphant Celebrational Service reflecting the Life of Deacon Overton’s Life, Light and Legacy will be held at the hour of 1pm on September 13,2025 at Manteo First Assembly with Pastor Ivey Belch, officiating and Minister Patricia Tillett delivering the eulogy. Although Deacon Overton closed the drapes on this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him, can find solace knowing, he has walked into the Garden of Rest, where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.

Guests are being received at 416 Berry Road Manteo,NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
