James Harold Fleming II

With genuine comfort and support, the Horton’s Funeral Home family is announcing the peaceful transition of Mr. James Fleming ll , from this life to life everlasting. Mr. Fleming transitioned Thursday, October 13, 2022. 

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for James have been finalized and will commence on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations in Hertford, NC. 

Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Beaver Hill Cemetery. It is in this place that his physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air.

As hard as it will be for James’ loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
