Isaac Henry Blanchard

It is with sincere sadness that the Horton’s Funeral Home Family announces the earthly transition of Mr. Isaac Henry Blanchard as he peacefully answered the Master's call on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Hertford, NC. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations at 1pm. Mr. Blanchard will lie in state from 12Noon until time of service. 

Immediately following the formalities in the Chapel, Mr. Blanchard’s earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to the Dozier's-Thickett Cemetery for Committal Rites.

As hard as it will be for Isaac’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing.... “We’ll understand it better all by and by.” 

Isaac leaves precious memories to his daughter, Delores Winslow of Hertford, NC and Tammy White who he always called his step-daughter. 

The Professionals at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations are accommodating each request and personal desire of the Blanchard and connected families.
