With sincere compassion and concern, the Horton Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Ms. Iris Ann White as they prepare to celebrate her lasting legacy. Ms. White transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, June 23, 2024. 

Services commemorating this priceless gem will commence on Sunday, July 7, 2024 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 4pm at St. Anthony’s Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY. Ms. White will lie in state from 3pm until time of service. A Viewing and Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 11am to 1pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 2pm at Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton, NC. 

Ms. White’s delicate temple along with her adored family will be escorted to the Beaver Hill Cemetery for committal rights. During this time, family and visitors can reminisce on the days of old and embrace everlasting memories, while beginning the healing process as a result of this devastating loss.
